SHORT BIO

“Rockin” Rick Bell has been a public speaker, author, and performer for over three decades. He earned his nickname, ‘Rock,’ as a professional Kickboxer and decorated Police Officer in his twenties. That nickname became ‘Rockin’ Rick’ when his natural talent for music led him to a long career as an award-winning vocalist, guitarist, and entertainer.

Rick Bell’s life began with his mother giving him up at birth and refusing to ever meet him, causing life-long feelings of rejection that he medicated by over-achieving in everything he did.

Ironically, Rick discovered as an adult that his birth mother, whom he had never met, was actually a gifted writer. Rick’s inherited writing ability became apparent when the reviews for his first book, “Boxing Blindfolded With Demons,” began coming in with 5-star ratings and amazing reviews.

Today Rick Bell lives near Austin, Texas, where he works as a Christian paranormal investigator, a writer, a teacher, a public speaker, and a music professional.

LONG BIO

“Rockin” Rick Bell has been a public speaker, author, and performer for over three decades. He earned his nickname, ‘Rock,’ as a professional Kickboxer and decorated Police Officer in his twenties. That nickname became ‘Rockin’ Rick’ when his natural talent for music led him to a long career as an award-winning vocalist, guitarist, and entertainer. Rick was featured with his band, “Rockin’ Rick and the Corvettes,” on a PBS Television special in 2003 and has won multiple awards, including Central Texas Entertainer of the Year twice.

Rick Bell has lived one of the most interesting and unusual lives you’ll ever read about. His biological mother gave him up at birth and refused any contact with him as an adult. He medicated lifelong feelings of rejection by over-achieving in everything he did, such as:

  • Becoming a professional lead guitar player and singer by age 14.
  • Earning a Black Belt in TaeKwon Do in record time.
  • Becoming an undefeated champion Kickboxer training with George Foreman’s sparring partners.
  • Receiving a letter of commendation as a Police Officer for stopping a bank robbery in progress.

When Rick was thirty years old, he found his birth mother, but she refused to meet him. The Nuns at the Catholic school his mother attended told him she was a gifted writer and the editor of her High School yearbook her senior year.

When his first book, “Boxing Blindfolded With Demons,” garnered 5-star ratings and incredible reviews, Rick realized he had inherited a talent for writing from his mother.

Earning a 10th Degree Black belt over a long career as a Martial Arts teacher and business innovator for Karate schools nationwide, Rick Bell is recognized as one of the early thought leaders in that industry.

In the late 1990s, Rick Bell wrote the Quick Defense Course for women, which was the first of its kind. His programs and management innovations were implemented in over 1,000 martial arts schools.

In 2012, Rick was led through a series of events to help people as an exorcist. Through this work, he became a Paranormal Investigator, designing and building a Rolling Paranormal Laboratory called the “Ghost Wagon.”

Today, Rick Bell lives near Austin, Texas, where he works as a Christian paranormal investigator, a writer, a teacher, a public speaker, and a music professional.
